Yes I would have been pissed off! If he isn't concerned and can't make the commitment to look after you for 24 hours there's a problem. It's not like he was stuck inside looking after you for a week with nothing to do or no-one to talk to. If it was the other way round would you have gone out with friends and left him to look after himself? Would he have expected you to stay with him? Thought so...
