Why do I keep hitting the rim of my racket in badminton? What can I do to improve?

I hit the rim a lot in badminton. I swear, if they made the racket a bit bigger and in a donut shape I would be a world cl player. I think it has to do with my timing, like I'm not waiting long enough on a dropping birdie, or not reaching far enough to block smashes... But sometimes, when the birdie is dropping slowly from the sky, I tell myself, WAIT!!! And I make sure that I will hit it in the sweet spot. But then, PLINK, I hit it on the rim again. This really annoys me. What can I do to improve my play?

Does taking your prenatal pills after birth increase...?

the chances of getting pregnant again? My OB never told me to keep taking them, she told me to keep taking my iron, but all my friends who have had kids and many moms on here have told me to keep taking my prenatal pills as they will help my body readjust. But will this increase my chances of getting pregnant again? My doctor won't discuss bc with me until my 6 week postpartum visit (but I am going to try and broach the subject on Wed) and we can't use condoms so we're basically just using the pull out method right now, which I know is not a great way to avoid it. I've been told women can be MORE fertile postpartum but do the prenatal pills increase that?

How about rope and a simple pulley. Chain is only use to increase load capacity. Doesn't sound like a problem here and would be cheaper.

I found this movie presenting ideas I'd read were on the way to being proven to be true....Dr. Candace Pert has written Molecules in Emotion and is respected for her research in mind/body field whereas other people in the film have no credentials nor do their ideas hold validity. I was told this movie is completely pseudoscience... Have any of you researched this area....or have read similar ideas in this movie that have been proven by now.

He is basically telling you that he doesn't have to work anymore because he already has you and he isn't going to listen to your complaints or take them seriously because he thinks that you will put up with him regardless. I would begin to shake things up by not initiating dates or texting him or calling him and start playing hard to get. I would even not be available some of the time and see if it shakes things up. How can I get my horse over his fear of bridles?

I work with a horse who is terrified of the bridle going over his ears. He had a lot of problems when he first came to the stable, but this wasn't one of them. He slowly started becoming resistant to the bridle and is now panicky. A couple of people have tried to bridle him when he was tied to the fence, which just resulted in him snapping the lead rope and has only exacerbated the problem. He trusts me, so the stable owner has asked me to tackle this problem. I know he's not head shy as he loves having his head rubbed and he accepts the bit without a fuss, so that's not the problem either. He doesn't react negatively when I halter him and I have tried draping a rope around his head and ears and he is fine with that as well. I can rub his head and ears with the bridle or hackamore in my hand, but as soon as I make a move to put it over his head, he pulls back, raises his head so I can't reach it (he's half draft horse, so he's a BIG boy) and starts sweating. He's making huge strides in all of his other hang-ups, but I'm at a loss for this one. Any suggestions?

Gay friend a control freak?

Ok,I have asked this question as of yesterday, with only two responeses. Hoping to get some more feedback. I have this friend. He always feels the need the "lead" the way..Serious..Anytime we are in public he feels the need to lead. I have tried to be more of the dominant person, but everytime I do, he somehow feels the need to take control of the situation.One time when we were at a football game, two guys were in our seats, I told him, no worries Ill take care of it. Well, he took care of it regardless. Am I being a nick picker, or does anyone think my friend feels like he has to protect me somehow?And if so, why?
